Get your glam on…

The number one thing to remember about the wardrobe? Fit is everything.

You will want to make sure the pieces you bring in fit you well – supporting and revealing. Check to make sure the pieces you choose aren’t too large with lots of excess fabric and that they aren’t too small and restrictive. Your wardrobe should hug curves the right way – not cut into your body or make it hard to move.

Want to show off or accentuate your body? Choose pieces that are cut to highlight your favorite physical features.

If you love your chest, choose a lower cut or asymmetrical neckline for drama.

If you love your back, choose something backless or that has a dramatic low back.

If you are all about those shoulders, that’s where the racer backs and halters come in.

Stomach your best asset? Pick a few pairs of low-cut underwear to properly frame and flaunt it.

Want the illusion of little more length? A high-cut panty or bodysuit will draw the eye up, creating the illusion of longer legs.

Tall? Embrace it! A classic bra, panties, garter belt, and thigh-high stocking ensemble keeps our attention on the length of your legs.

Curves for days?? Lucky you. Bodysuits are great for curvy ladies’ boudoir photos! Why? They are form-fitting, hug your body and they look amazing on everyone! There are a ton of styles and cuts for every aesthetic. You can also keep those curves coming with a retro slip cut on the bias or a high waisted garter belt or panty!

Want some fun ideas on how to make it a little more interesting and fun?? Try layering. For a classic look, add a garter belt or a pair of thigh-highs to a basic bra and panty set. You can add a peignoir, robe or a sheer shirt.

Now that you know what you are looking for – it’s time to shop your closet! Have fun pulling things from the bottom of your drawers and the back of your closet. Try everything on. You may be surprised by what you already have. Then, it’s time to narrow down. Choose ONLY what you feel amazing in!

Carefully cut the tags out of anything that’s coming with you. Tags can peak out and end up ruining the overall aesthetic of your photos.

If you’re still a bit unsure of what to wear, don’t worry about it! Bring your favorites and when you arrive for your boudoir session, we’ll go over your options and choose the looks together. Sometimes, a completed look is only one piece. Sometimes, it’s several. We will help you sort and organize each boudoir outfit for your session.

Consider thigh-high stockings.

Wearing thigh-highs can add a sense of style to boudoir photos, and they are a great way to show off your amazing legs!
