Your Senior Portrait Experience
Your senior portrait experience should be fun and memorable and leave you with the best photos you’ve ever seen of yourself!
You’re young, vibrant, and have a bright future, so let’s show off a little! Bring a few outfits, a couple pairs of shoes, and be every version of you that you love! We may shoot in a garden or field, or in downtown, or just in my studio. We will toss around ideas for locations that will help you feel at ease, and represent who you are. The most important thing is that you feel “in your element” so the photos really represent you as an individual.
Don’t forget to bring your sports equipment, ballet shoes, cheer uniform, varsity jacket, or whatever else you have that tells us who you are. If the session is outside, it is always best to shoot in the morning or evening when the sun is lower in the sky for amazing light!
And don’t worry if you don’t know how to pose. That’s my job! I will help you pose in flattering ways that will make your photos look beautiful and natural. All you need to do is show up, look like your best self, and have fun! I have outfit guides for you that you may find useful as well. If you’re interested in these, please let me know and I will send them to you.
The Process
Consultation
After you have booked your session, we will chat about all of the details, either via phone or email, and plan it from start to finish! We will discuss locations, I’m glad to help you coordinate outfits, and we will decide which items you should bring to your session. You will be able to ask me any questions you may have, and I can offer guidance to ensure that you have a super fun session and love your photos. If you’re interested in hair and makeup tips, styling tips, etc., please let me know and I will give you access to the Senior’s VIP Lounge on my website where there is all kinds of helpful information! If you’d like hair and makeup services provided to you at my studio on the day of your session, please let me know, and I will do my best to arrange this for you. I have hair and makeup partners who would love to meet you at my studio and get you all dolled-up!
Ordering Appointment
After your photoshoot, we will meet again for your ordering appointment at my studio. This might be immediately after your photoshoot, or on a different day within two weeks of your session. In either case, please make sure to allow at least one hour to view your photos (and fall in love with them!). There is one complimentary ordering appointment per photoshoot. Extra ordering appointments are offered at $150 each.
