My journey with photography began in eighth grade, when I received my first disposable film camera. From the moment I developed that very first roll, I was captivated by the power of preserving life’s fleeting moments in a way that feels tangible and lasting. Although I went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English—fueled by a lifelong love of writing—my truest passion has always been storytelling through the lens.

I began my professional photography career in 2010 under the mentorship of two of Detroit’s most respected wedding photographers. Their guidance shaped both my technical foundation and my approach to capturing genuine, heartfelt moments. After taking a five-year pause to focus on raising my three wonderful children, now all over the age of ten, I returned to photography with renewed inspiration, perspective, and purpose.

Since then, my work has grown to include a wide range of sessions, from high school seniors and engaged couples to professional headshots, maternity and newborn portraits, and timeless family photography. I’m honored to be a three-time Best of The Knot award winner (2024, 2025, 2026) and a WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award recipient (2024, 2025)—recognitions that reflect both the experiences I provide and the trust my clients place in me. No matter the session, my goal is always to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere and deliver images that feel authentic, beautiful, and lasting.

Based in Fenton, Michigan, I proudly serve clients throughout the region and beyond, and I also offer destination photography for those looking to document life’s most meaningful milestones in unforgettable places.
