Are You Excited? Me too!

Let’s Prep!

How to Prepare for Your Session:

Hair

If needed, it is best to get your hair cut and dyed about one week prior to your session. You’ll want your roots to be fresh, so you can look your best!

Please arrive to your session with clean, dry hair.

Face

Your face should be clean and moisturized, with no makeup applied.

You may bring your signature lip-color if you’d like.

Tan

This is a personal choice. If you are a tanner, or spray-tanner, you may consider tanning or getting a spray-tan prior to your session.

Clothing

You’ll be most comfortable if you arrive wearing a loose-fitting casual outfit, as you will be sitting for approximately an hour to an hour and a half for the hair and makeup. After the makeover, you will have a private space to change into your formalwear. Keep scrolling down on this page to see beautiful inspiration for outfits!

Please do not forget to bring any accessories that you’d like to wear during your session. This may include scarves, hats, jewelry, belts, etc.

If you wear a dress, it does not have to fit perfectly. Your dress may be a tad-bit snug (not zipped up all-the-way), or a bit too large and we can make-do. Unless, of course, you plan to go out to dinner afterward; which you should, to celebrate and take advantage of your makeover!

Shoes

Shoes are not important. Most portraits do no include feet. So, please do not stress about shoes.
